Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Spirit of Glory WA mobile application (the “App”), provided by The Spirit of Glory World Assembly (“the Church,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) and operated on our behalf by KAJOTA Ltd. By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. The App

The App provides access to church content and community features, including sermons, events, live streaming, a gallery, prayer requests, giving, and announcements. We may add, change, or remove features at any time.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
• You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date.
• You may sign in using email and password, Google, or Apple.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purpose;
• Submit content that is abusive, defamatory, obscene, or infringes the rights of others;
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the App, its servers, or other users’ accounts;
• Interfere with or disrupt the operation or security of the App.

4. Prayer Requests and User Content

When you submit a prayer request, feedback, or other content, you grant the Church permission to receive, read, and respond to it as part of our pastoral care. You are responsible for the content you submit and confirm that you have the right to share it. Please do not submit sensitive personal information you do not wish us to hold.

If you enable notifications, you consent to receive push notifications such as sermon releases, event reminders, and announcements. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings.

7. Intellectual Property

The App and its content — including sermons, text, graphics, logos, and the Church name and marks — are owned by or licensed to the Church and are protected by law. You may use the App for personal, non-commercial, devotional purposes only. You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without our written permission.

8. Third-Party Services

The App relies on third-party services (including Google, Apple, Firebase, Stripe, Paystack, OPay, and our hosting and email providers). Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services we do not control.

9. Disclaimers

The App and its content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. Spiritual and devotional content is provided for edification and does not constitute professional, legal, financial, or medical advice. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Church and KAJOTA Ltd will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of or inability to use the App.

11. Termination and Account Deletion

You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time via More → Account → Delete Account. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the App and our community.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where changes are significant, provide additional notice within the App. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and the courts of Lagos State shall have jurisdiction over any disputes, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
