This Privacy Policy explains how The Spirit of Glory World Assembly (“the Church,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use the Spirit of Glory WA mobile application (the “App”) on iOS and Android. The App is developed and operated on the Church’s behalf by KAJOTA Ltd.
By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
When you create an account or sign in, we collect:
If you choose to sign in with Google or Apple, we request only your basic profile — your name, email address, and profile picture. We do not request or receive access to your Google Drive, Gmail, Contacts, Calendar, photos, or any other data in your Google or Apple account. With Sign in with Apple you may also choose to hide your email, in which case Apple provides us a private relay address.
If you submit a prayer request, feedback, or contact message, we collect the content you provide so that our pastoral team can read and respond to it. You may submit a prayer request anonymously.
When you give or donate through the App, your payment is processed securely by our third-party payment providers — Stripe, Paystack, and OPay. Your full card or bank details are entered directly with these providers and are never stored on our servers. We retain a record of the amount, fund, date, and a payment reference so we can acknowledge your gift.
If you allow notifications, we store a device push token (via Apple Push Notification service and Google Firebase Cloud Messaging) so we can send you sermons, event reminders, and announcements. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings.
We collect limited technical data needed to operate the App reliably, such as your device platform (iOS/Android) and app version.
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate the App, and only as needed:
We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and property of the Church, our members, or the public.
We keep your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the App and fulfil the purposes described above. When you delete your account, we remove your personal data as described below.
You can permanently delete your account and personal data directly in the App:
Open More → Account → Delete Account, then confirm. This permanently removes your account, prayer requests, saved data, and push tokens. This action cannot be undone.
You may also request deletion by emailing us at thespiritofglorywa@gmail.com. Certain records may be retained where required by law (for example, financial records of donations).
We protect your information using industry-standard measures, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to safeguard your data and to notify you of any material breach where required by law.
The App is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Depending on your location (including under the Nigeria Data Protection Act and, where applicable, the GDPR), you have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, use the in-App account deletion or contact us at the address below.
Our service providers may process data in countries outside your own. Where this happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards to protect your information consistent with this policy.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the “Last updated” date above and, where changes are significant, provide additional notice within the App.
